That’s 40 years of bringing our customers great bargains on brand name products they love. Our unique business model is one-of-a-kind, and 40 years truly is a testament to our success. That’s why we decided to go big and present the world’s largest bobblehead in the likeness of our mascot! We unveiled this massive achievement during the 40th birthday celebration on September 28, 2022, at our flagship store located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The Guinness Guidelines

To qualify as the world’s largest, Ollie’s giant bobblehead had to be fully functional and a replica of smaller items, like the bobbleheads that were sold in Ollie’s stores across the country. For four months, artists used 3D modeling, 10.5 gallons of paint, and hand-sculpted and carved foam to make the giant Ollie bobblehead look just like the miniature versions. 

Breaking the Record

The impressive figure stands over 16 feet tall and weighs over 600 pounds, which beat the previous world’s largest bobblehead record held by Applied Underwriters and their 15-foot bobblehead replica of their mascot, Bernard, which was created in 2016. The Ollie’s bobblehead is currently listed on the Guinness Book of World Records website.
